COVID-19 FOCUS GROUP
NAACP Riverside Branch has partnered with @UCRiverside School of Medicine to host a COVID-19 Focus Group.
The purpose of this focus group is to ascertain how to better mitigate the health disparities in this COVID-19 pandemic that are affecting our community.
Please consider participating in this 90-minute virtual focus group. Optional sessions are available including tomorrow morning, Monday (evening) and Tuesday (evening) of next week.

Waudieur Rucker-Hughes Scholarship Program
Dear Community Partner,
We are pleased to announce, Sempra Energy/So Cal Gas Company donated monies to NAACP Riverside Branch to sponsor youth scholarships in the STEM field. Five eligible scholars will be selected by our Branch to receive a $5,000 scholarship.

ACT-SO Enrollment

The NAACP Riverside Branch ACT-SO Committee accepting applications from youth grades 9 through 12 to participate in the Local ACT-SO competition. ACT-SO includes 32 competitions in STEM, humanities, business, and performing, visual and culinary arts. Students who earn a gold medal in the Local ACT-SO Competition will be eligible for the National ACT-SO Competition July 7-9, 2021 in North Carolina.
Judges are needed for the April 24th 25th Local Competition. Competitors must email their complete application to Maudie Wilson and Charles Walker by February 28th.
