ACT‑SO Leadership – Maudie Wilson and Dr. Janet Hill
The NAACP Riverside County Branch proudly recognizes the dedicated leadership of our ACT‑SO team. Under the guidance of ACT‑SO Chair Maudie Wilson and Co‑Chair Dr. Janet Hill, our youth scholars are supported, encouraged, and empowered to pursue excellence in academics, the arts, STEM, entrepreneurship, and community leadership.
ACT‑SO—the Afro‑Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympics—is more than a competition. It is a year‑round program designed to cultivate Black talent, nurture creativity, and open doors to opportunities that transform lives. Through workshops, mentorship, coaching, and cultural enrichment, our leaders ensure that every student feels seen, valued, and capable of achieving greatness.

Co‑Chair Dr. Janet Hill contributes her expertise, vision, and unwavering dedication to academic excellence.
